enum NwInterfaceType : Enum<NwInterfaceType>

A physical interface type a path can traverse. Cellular/Wired/Loopback/Other mirror nw_interface_type_t directly; Wi-Fi is split into two so a consumer can tell the "same access point" case from a true peer-to-peer link:

WifiLan — infrastructure Wi-Fi through a shared access point (BSD name en*).
WifiDirect — peer-to-peer Wi-Fi with no access point (AWDL / low-latency Wi-Fi; BSD name awdl0/llw0).

nw_interface_type_t reports both as the single wifi type; the split is recovered from the BSD interface name by classifyWifiInterface (#1554) — a de-facto-stable but Apple-undocumented heuristic.
